This presentation covers prevalence of tattoos, common stereotypes of tattooed individuals, how these perceptions play a role in hiring and on-the-job treatment of tattooed individuals, and tattooed employees' experiences. Drawing on research in organizational and social psychology, it invites critically thinking about professional expectations and why tattoos can be positive.

This presentation examines why people get tattoos and how tattooing relates to identity, self-esteem, body image, confidence, grief, and healing from trauma.
